The workshop  is designed to educate all women - and men - as part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Family Court Awareness Month. Dr. Christine M. Cocchiola, a world renowned expert on coercive control and therapist, with Co-Author Divorce Coach and Journalist Amy Polacko will be presenting this free workshop entitled “The Abuser’s Playbook.” The workshop will focus on red flags to look for in relationships as well as defining coercive control.   The authors will also discuss the crisis in our family courts and share about how to protect yourself.

The authors are passionate about educating people about the “playbook” abusers use during courtship, marriage and divorce.

Cocchiola and Polacko wrote their book FRAMED: Women in the Family Court Underworld as an expose of how domestic abuse victims are treated in our legal system.
