Child's Rights Advocate

Elina Asensio is a Child's Rights Advocate.  She is 16 years old and currently living in Colorado with her protective parent. She has been involved in the family court system since she was little.  Elina is very excited to start talking about ways to make our children safe and make some real change happen.  Her story has been featured in Hannah Dreyfus's ProPublica article, A Custody Evaluator Who Disbelieves 90% of Abuse Allegations Recommended a Teen Stay Under Her Abusive Father’s Control.
