Child Advocate and Protective Parent

Heather Rossiter is a domestic violence survivor and protective parent. 

After years of abuse from her ex-husband, she decided to leave.  Prior to leaving, there was an attack on her that was witnessed by her children, 1 and 9 at the time, and they were hurt in the attack.  Heather’s case includes 127 hearings, 57 false 911 calls and 11 CYS calls.  With the help of an attorney and GAL hired by her ex, legal custody switched from her to their abuser.  Even with evidence of abuse to her child,  custody remains with their father.
